Meet Ian, a 1.5-year-old black and white Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix with a heart as big as his spirit! Ian is a testament to resilience, proving that a challenging past doesn't dictate a dog's future. Despite a previous hip injury that has since healed beautifully, his playful and joyful personality shines through every day. He’s a fun-loving, boisterous pup who adores attention, loves to romp with his toys, and is always ready for a cozy cuddle after playtime. Ian gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be a fantastic companion for a household with canine friends. He's also a happy eater, enjoying his meals from a slow-feeder bowl to help manage his digestion.

Ongoing Health

Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, a condition that affects his body’s ability to concentrate urine and has no relation to blood sugar. He takes oral medication twice daily to help his body manage urine concentration and ensure full bladder emptying. This medication may be lifelong or temporary, depending on veterinary guidance, and its cost can vary. Due to this condition, Ian requires frequent potty breaks.

Ian is generally well-behaved and happy with his routine. His primary needs revolve around his medication schedule and frequent potty breaks.
