Henley

Henley is a sweet and mellow 1-year-old pup, weighing in at 35 pounds. He's a mix of what we believe to be Staffie and Plott Hound, rescued after being found without tags or a chip. Despite his uncertain start, Henley is a truly good boy, even serving as a "tester" dog at the shelter to help gauge the temperament of other pups. He remained calm, respectful, and kind, showing his gentle nature. He's a bit smaller than a typical Plott Hound, and while we're not sure of his other breeds, his DNA is certainly full of sweetness!

Henley is currently thriving with a foster family, who describe him as a happy-go-lucky, super sweet character who loves to play with his doggie siblings. He's smart, listens well, and enjoys playtime in their backyard. He's the perfect medium-sized family pup!

Ideal Home

Henley would do best in a suburban environment with a loving family and a fully fenced yard. He would love to have a canine sibling to play with, but he could also be a happy solo pup with an active family that showers him with affection.

Ongoing Health

Henley is healthy and up-to-date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Henley is house-trained and listens well. He is eager to please and will undoubtedly continue to blossom with continued love and guidance.
