Maddox

Maddox is a sweet 4-year-old Belgian Malinois mix who has been through a lot. She and her sister, Mel, lost their home due to divorce, and while Mel has found her forever family, Maddox is still waiting for her special someone. Maddox is a quiet girl who enjoys her downtime and prefers a calm environment. She's house-trained, crate-trained, and incredibly affectionate, making her a wonderful companion rather than a high-drive working dog. Maddox weighs 60 lbs and loves to sunbathe and snuggle. She's good with dogs, cats, and children, and gets along well with her foster family's pets and kids.

Ideal Home

A home where she will receive plenty of love and affection. Yards must be adequately and fully fenced; electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Maddox is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She is kept on Proheart 12.

Training & Support

Maddox is house-trained and crate-trained. She is described as a companion dog and not a high-drive working dog.

• Adoption fee is $400, which includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high-quality nylon Martingale collar, and harness.

Transportation

Maddox is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state and even Canada for the right home.
