Beyonce

Beyonce is a 3-year-old female Heinz 57 mix, weighing 37 pounds. She's a blend of Husky, Lab, and Catahoula, with an unknown father. Beyonce was rescued from a hoarding situation and is now fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, ready to find her forever home. She's a sweet, loyal, and loving girl who has learned to be more confident by observing and interacting with her foster siblings. She enjoys daily playtime, occasional zoomies, and loves to run in the yard, but is equally happy snuggling on the couch. Once she bonds with you, she'll be your best pal and will do her best to snuggle up for affection.

Ideal Home

Beyonce thrives in the company of other dogs and will do best in a home with at least one friendly resident dog to continue showing her the ropes. A fenced yard is ideal for her moderate activity level and love of running. She is wary of men due to past experiences, so a female-led household would be the most successful environment for her. While she has done okay with a visiting child, she isn't particularly playful with kids and takes time to warm up to new people. A quieter, more predictable household would help her feel safe and confident.

Training & Support

Beyonce is fully potty trained and does great when left to free roam. She is not a huge fan of crates. She is comfortable sharing her food, toys, and treats with her foster siblings. She is shy when meeting new people, especially men, and needs patience and understanding as she warms up. She walks more confidently on leash when accompanied by another dog.

Transporation

Beyonce is currently in a foster home in HOUSTON, TX. She is eligible for transport to an adopter once an application is approved.
