Kenai

Meet Kenai, a sweet and gentle mixed breed who is approximately 2-4 years old. Kenai's journey to us was heartbreaking; she was found as a stray with a chain and trap attached to her leg. After a safe capture and a trip to the vet, it was discovered that her front leg was severely injured and required amputation. Now, Kenai is safe with us and is already learning to navigate the world as a proud tripod! Despite her traumatic past, she remains incredibly friendly, loving, and smart. She also gets along well with other dogs, which is wonderful to see given everything she's been through. This brave girl is truly deserving of a happy ending, and we're committed to making sure the rest of her life is the best of her life.

Ongoing Health

Kenai has had a leg amputated and is recovering as a tripod. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Like all rescue dogs, Kenai will benefit from continued training and socialization to help her thrive in her new environment.

Transporation

Kenai is located in South Carolina. We transport to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
