Meet Skippy, a charming dog who absolutely adores his canine companions! Skippy is a true social butterfly, thriving in playgroups and happiest when surrounded by his four-legged friends. He's always up for a game of chase, a good sniff session, or simply lounging in the sun with a buddy.
While Skippy's heart is a little guarded when it comes to humans, it's understandable given his journey. He began at the Mesquite Animal Shelter in 2017 and has been with us at OHAR, experiencing different foster situations. Thankfully, an experienced foster gave him the time, structure, and love he needed to blossom. Though he found a home in 2020, he was recently returned because his adopters couldn't provide the guidance he still needs. The one human who truly made Skippy feel safe was his foster mama, who saw his potential and never gave up on him. We won't give up on him either. Skippy deserves a patient, experienced, and kind person who understands that trust is earned. Could that someone be you? Let's show Skippy that forever really does exist.
