Honey Comb is a sweet, affectionate, and silly 6-year-old terrier mix who weighs 68 lbs. She's the perfect blend of playful energy and chill vibes, always looking for an opportunity to snuggle up close. Whether you're watching TV or reading a book, Honey Comb is happy to be by your side, resting her head on your lap or nuzzling in for cuddles. She's also independent and can entertain herself, making her an excellent work-from-home companion. When it's time for fun, she's always ready for a "Let's go outside!" moment, complete with happy bounces and adorable zoomies. Honey Comb loves meeting new people, especially children, and her signature "stop, drop, and roll" is her way of asking for belly rubs. She has excellent manners, is smart, and learns routines quickly.
Ideal Home
Honey Comb would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of quality time with her people. A fenced-in backyard is a must for her to play fetch and sunbathe. She prefers a quieter suburban or rural setting over a busy city, as she loves nature trails and hikes. She would be happiest as the only pet in the home, where she can receive all the love and attention. A home with children aged 4 and up is recommended to prevent accidental bumps from her happy tail.

Honey Comb is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped, and is on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Honey Comb is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She communicates her need to go potty by "tap dancing" by the door. She is not destructive and can be trusted when left alone. She is happy to sleep in a kennel but would love to sleep with her forever family, either in bed or on a dog bed nearby.

Transportation
Honey Comb is currently in a foster home in Austin, TX. She can be adopted and transported to various locations; please visit www.loveandpuppypawsdogrescue.com/transport-locations for details. Transports are monthly, and adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. Dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported.
