Ready to find your new bandmate? Meet Owen! Owen is a one-year-old Beagle, weighing around 25lbs, who loves snacks, chin scratches, and playing fetch – often with himself! He'll entertain you with his puppy antics and then melt your heart with his soulful eyes and polite requests for snuggles. Owen has a real zest for life, and that includes shredding toys, beds, pee pads, and dirt piles, all with impressive vocal range and stamina. He enjoys using his crate as a safe space and is good with other dogs, provided they have appropriate introductions.

Ideal Home

Owen's ideal home will have a family ready to continue his potty and leash training with positive reinforcement. Because he adores his toys and doesn't always like to share them yet, he should be supervised around high-value items and during playtime, as is recommended for all new dogs. Potential adopters should understand that Owen and other beagles from his previous environment (former lab dogs) require extra patience, time, and understanding as they learn to navigate life in a home.

Owen is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccines, and is on monthly prevention.

Training & Support
