Jack

Hello there! My name is Jack, and I'm a sweet, athletic, and surprisingly quiet boy. I'm deaf, but that just means I experience the world in a unique way, and trust me, it doesn't slow me down one bit! I'm a happy and energetic soul who absolutely loves to play with my toys and explore the great outdoors. I get along wonderfully with all the doggie friends I've met so far. I can be a little independent at times, but I also relish the company of my humans and am always up for some playtime. I'm even crate-trained and occasionally get bursts of energy where I zoom around, but I'm also content with a nice stroll. I do get tuckered out, as my heart isn't in the best shape. This is due to a past where I was rescued from a kill shelter by an out-of-state rescue and left without proper treatment for years. Thankfully, Paws4Christ stepped in and saved me! I have so much love to give and am just looking for the right family to share it with. If you're seeking a funny, loving, and loyal companion, I'm your guy! Ideal Home

I would do best in a home without cats or small animals. Owners who are familiar with the needs of deaf dogs would be a great fit for me.

Ongoing Health

I am heartworm positive and have started treatment. My heart is also not in the best shape, but I am being well-cared for.

Training & Support

I'm crate-trained and enjoy playtime. I can be a little independent, but I love human company.
