Hi there! I'm Bark Twain, a 5-year-old Mixed Breed who is looking for a fresh start and a partner to help me write down my happy tails. I am super handsome, super loving, and really ready to make someone happy. I am an active fella who would love to have a buddy to go to the park with, to go hiking or fishing with, or to even just hang out in the backyard with. I am a fetch machine and love to play, play, play! When I'm not playing, I love tummy rubs and learning new tricks. I am food motivated and enjoy learning new things, so I pick up on new commands quickly; I am really eager to make my people happy!
I am a total ham and love any attention that I can get, so people of all ages are a-okay by me! With other dogs, I'm kind of hit or miss, but no one is friends with everyone, right? I adore one of the girly dogs in my foster home and may be able to live with another calm, female companion. I would also be just fine being your only child and center of attention.
The most remarkable thing about me is the size of my heart and my ability to devote myself to the people I love. You can count on me to snuggle you when you are sad and play with you when you are happy. I will be your loyal companion for life!
Ideal Home
I'd love a home with a yard where I can play fetch and go on adventures with my person. I'm a bouncy boy, so if you have children, please be prepared to help me learn not to jump on them. I might be able to live with a calm, female dog, but I'd also be happy being the only pet.
Ongoing Health
All of my medical needs are up to date. I've been spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases, microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella. I've also been treated for internal and external parasites.
Training & Support
I'm a quick learner and motivated by treats! I'm eager to please and would love to learn new tricks. I can be a little bouncy, so some gentle guidance on not jumping on people will help me settle in.

- Our adoption fee is $175.
- All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
