Smokey

Meet Smokey! He's a 2-year-old, 60-pound male Cane Corso / Weimaraner mix who came to us as a stray. Smokey is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and ready to shower his forever family with affection! He's a super sweet boy who loves to cuddle on the couch, especially during a Gilmore Girls marathon, but he also enjoys a good game of chase with his doggy friends. Smokey is a quick learner and has a gentle, kind-hearted nature. He's a total couch potato who thrives on love and attention.

Ideal Home

Smokey would thrive in a home without cats. He also prefers a house over an apartment and would do best with someone who works from home or is only away for a few hours a day due to his mild separation anxiety. A low-traffic home would also be ideal due to his initial shyness around strangers.

Ongoing Health

Smokey is up-to-date on all vaccinations and is microchipped and neutered.

Training & Support

Smokey is fully potty trained and walks well on a leash, though he can be a bit nervous around strangers and may pull slightly out of excitement initially, but he's easily redirected. He is not a big fan of crates and prefers not to be shut inside them. He does well when left to free roam.
