Meet Emery, a delightful 47 lb Greyhound x Staffordshire Terrier mix with an estimated birthdate of September 19, 2024. Emery is a truly sweet girl who loves to play dress-up, even sporting two costumes for Halloween because she enjoyed posing for the camera so much! A volunteer noted her gentle treat-taking and docile temperament with those she trusts, making her very treat-motivated for training. She also enjoys car rides and behaves beautifully in the car. Emery currently lives with other dogs and loves playtime. She's full of energy and would make a fantastic hiking or running companion. Emery can sometimes be wary of men, so she would do best with someone patient who can help her adjust to her new life and provide plenty of opportunities to burn off her energy. Emery was rescued from a county shelter where she was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding, despite being young, happy, and healthy.

Emery would thrive in a home with an active owner who can keep up with her energy levels and provide patience as she adjusts. She would benefit from someone who understands her occasional wariness of men and can help her build confidence.
