Bert

Bert is a handsome, 5.5-month-old Great Pyrenees with a confident and food-motivated personality. He's lived a life of farm adventure, making him well-acquainted with a variety of animals, including cats, sheep, turkeys, ducks, chickens, and cows. While he's got farm experience, Bert is looking for a role as a beloved family companion rather than a working dog.

Ideal Home

Bert would thrive in a home that appreciates his independent spirit and can provide him with plenty of opportunities to be a cherished family member.

Ongoing Health

Bert is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. He will receive a health exam and certificate from a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Training & Support

Bert is food-motivated, which can be a great asset in his training journey!

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Our out-of-state adoption fee is $300 plus transport (which varies by location). This fee covers age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, and a health exam by a veterinarian.
• Adoption interviews and meet-and-greets are conducted via video call.
• Please note that adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis; our priority is to find the best possible home for each animal.

Transportation

Bert is currently fostered in Texas but is available for adoption and transport to approved homes. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport, and dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.
