Buddha - Affectionate, Social, Energetic :)

Buddha is a 10-month-old pit bull puppy with a huge heart, beautiful grey eyes, and world-class cuddle skills. He loves splashing in water, exploring, playing, and then curling up on you for snuggles. Despite a tough start — found on the LA streets with kennel cough and a limp, then scheduled for euthanasia at a kill shelter — Buddha has healed beautifully thanks to a dedicated foster team. Today he is affectionate, social, energetic, healthy, and so ready to finally find the forever home he deserves. He’s potty-trained, crate-trained, and beginning obedience lessons. Buddha is a strong, active boy who thrives with structure and would do best in a home that can give him exercise, guidance, and lots of love.

Ideal Home

Buddha would love a home with an active individual or family who enjoys training, walks, and playtime. A yard would be preferred, and he would do best with another playful, balanced dog in the home (though this is ideal, not required). He needs patience, structure, and lots of cuddles. His energy level is medium-high puppy energy. He has not met children yet, but has been around them in public.

Ongoing Health

Buddha is healthy and has fully recovered from kennel cough and a previous limp.

Training & Support

Buddha is potty-trained and crate-trained. He is currently in beginner obedience training and is described as strong and strong-willed, making him ideal for an active adopter or family. He has not been tested with cats.
