Hello there! I'm Scout, a 1.5-year-old, 28-pound bundle of joy who's a mix of Duck Toller and Carolina Dog. I know I might look a bit on the skinny side right now, but don't you worry! I was part of a rescue situation, and my new friends here are making sure I get all the yummy food I need to get to a healthy weight. I'm incredibly food-motivated, and I'll happily gobble up any food, treats, fruits, and especially bananas you might offer! Share a banana with me, and we'll be best friends in no time.
Despite my rough start, I'm a happy and playful pup who loves meeting new people. I'm still learning to show my true, friendly self, and I'm so excited about it! Fetch is my jam, and I'd love to run around the backyard with you and some toys. But I also really enjoy a good cuddle session and a nice belly rub. You won't believe it, but I'm a super quick learner! Even though I haven't had much leash experience, I'm already following my human friends with no pulling whatsoever. Exploring the world with you is the best! And guess what? I've only been here two days, and I already know "sit" and "paw." I'm eager to keep learning and embrace every single day as a gift. Transporation
Our dogs are in foster care within a 90-mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. We do provide transport to approved adopters.
