Kobe is a 4-year-old Yorkie mix weighing in at a cuddly 10 pounds. With his big heart and tiny paws, Kobe is a happy, sweet little guy who’s never met a stranger. This loving little guy thrives on companionship and wants nothing more than to be by your side. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or moving from room to room, Kobe will be your loyal little shadow. He gets along well with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind the resident cat. Kobe could be the only dog or have another small dog in the home under 15 lbs.
Ideal Home
Kobe would love a home with a securely fenced yard attached to the house. He is happiest when he can spend time outside with his foster mom. Kobe would not be a good fit for a person with balance issues or a senior citizen due to his tendency to plant himself by your feet, posing a tripping hazard. We require an all-adult home. The secure fence must be attached to the home, 4 feet or higher with gaps no larger than 1 1/2 inches. An invisible fence, enclosed patio or terrace without grass, temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing. If your fencing has "puppy pickets" (or is supplemented with garden fencing) it needs to be at least 36 inches high from the ground up AT THE LOWEST POINT.
Ongoing Health
All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines, and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing.
Training & Support
Kobe is working on house training and wears a belly band. His adoptive home will need patience to continue working with him on house training for him to be successful. He is doing very well with leash training.

Transporation
Kobe is located in Greensboro, NC. Potential adopters must be willing to travel to Greensboro, NC, to meet Kobe after a home visit is scheduled. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports.
