Maple

Maple is a sweet, gentle soul and truly a great dog. She’s dog- and cat-friendly and does well with kids, though she can be a little timid at first. She’s especially scared of men and needs patience, calm voices, and time to feel safe. Maple is kennel trained and potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and settles well at night—happy to sleep in her kennel or on the bed. This loving, loyal girl just needs the right home to finally stick. With understanding and consistency, she blossoms into the sweetest companion.

Ideal Home

Maple is good with kids, dogs, and cats. She can be timid at first, especially around men, so a home that can offer patience, calm voices, and time to feel safe will be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Maple does have some food aggression, but it’s very manageable as long as she’s fed separately.
