Humphrey, Roly Poly Goofball

Meet Humphrey, our roly-poly goofball who's about 2 years old and looking for his forever home! Humphrey was found roaming alone and has a heart full of love to share. He's a short and stocky fellow, but don't let that fool you – he's strong and can get a little jumpy when he's excited! Humphrey is not a fan of hot weather due to his Bulldog-type breathing, so he'll need to stay cool and comfortable during those summer days. He absolutely adores cookies and will happily trot alongside you during backyard strolls. Humphrey seems to get along well with other dogs and has shown he's non-reactive to cats.

Ideal Home

Humphrey can go to a home with children 12 years old and older. He cannot be left outside alone for extended periods during hot weather.

Ongoing Health

All animals are spayed and neutered before going home.

Training & Support

Humphrey can get jumpy when excited, so some continued training will help him learn to manage his enthusiasm.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID.
• If you rent or own a condo, landlord or housing association permission is required, including bully breed specific permission.
• If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required.
• Other pets in the home must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations.
• If there is another dog in the home, a dog interaction at the shelter is required.
• All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
• Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled.
• An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.

Transportation

Humphrey is located at our facility and can be transported to you once your application is approved and a meet and greet is scheduled.
