Pumpkin Lumpkin is a two-year-old Redbone Coonhound mix with the sweetest, most mellow personality. She's a large dog with an even larger heart, and her most striking feature is her incredibly long, floppy ears that seem to have a personality all their own! Pumpkin is the epitome of low-maintenance, content with simple pleasures like napping on the couch, lounging in the sun, or enjoying a leisurely stroll. She walks beautifully on leash and is wonderfully polite with other dogs, preferring a peaceful coexistence over rowdy play. She has also shown to be good with calm, cat-savvy cats. While she hasn't been kid-tested yet, her gentle and tolerant nature suggests she could be a wonderful family dog. Pumpkin can be a little vocal, so a home with a yard or a more hound-friendly apartment situation would be ideal. She's currently on a wellness journey to manage her weight, but this doesn't stop her from enjoying gentle explorations. She's the perfect companion for someone seeking a calm, affectionate, and easygoing furry friend who feels like a warm, weighted blanket.
