Penny Love is a charming, easygoing Lab mix, approximately 1.5 years old and weighing 70 lbs. She has a calm, balanced temperament and a steady, loving presence, making her an instant classic. Penny is a rescue dog, so her exact breed and age are an estimate. She's been a dream in her foster home, with a beautifully laid-back energy. Penny enjoys relaxing near her people and is not clingy, striking a perfect balance between companionship and independence.
Ideal Home
Penny Love would thrive in a home with a canine friend who is calm and collected, not overly boisterous, and respects her space. A male dog with a similar laid-back vibe would be ideal. If a home does not have other dogs, Penny is perfectly content being the center of attention. She is also cat-friendly and does well with aloof cats that keep to themselves, similar to her foster siblings. A home with a nice big backyard for her to roam and relax would be wonderful, but she also has the potential to thrive in an apartment due to her mellow nature.
Ongoing Health
Penny Love is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She also receives a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has tested negative for heartworm.
Training & Support
Penny is potty trained and is working on becoming more comfortable with crate training. She knows basic commands like "sit" and is eager to please. She enjoys casual strolls and is a great snuggle buddy. While she loves adventures, she is primarily a homebody who enjoys peace and comfort.

Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
