Alfalfa (Bonded with Spanky)

Meet Alfalfa and Spanky, two-year-old terrier mixes who are the perfect, bonded pair of "cosmic opposites." Rescued after fending for themselves on the streets of California, these two rely on each other for confidence and are now ready for a home to call their own.

They are a true Yin and Yang duo: Alfalfa is the spunky, energetic spark. Once he warms up, he is a true extrovert who loves to play and will soak up every bit of attention you'll give him. He's the first to grab a toy and try to start a game. Spanky is the sweet, soulful cuddler. He needs a moment to trust, but once he knows you're safe, he'll melt in your arms and shower you with grateful kisses. He's the first to find your lap when the playing is done.

Because of their uncertain start, both boys can be shy for a few minutes. They just need to see that you're a friend, and then their true, joyful puppy personalities come rocketing out. They are looking for a home that will adopt them together, as they are a true bonded pair. They enjoy other dogs and would love a playful friend to show them the ropes.
