Tater (MR26-138)

Tater is a 3-year-old terrier mix, weighing in at 17 lbs, with a gentle and sensitive soul. He's a master of relaxation and cherishes quiet moments where he feels safe and at ease. Tater can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but with a calm and patient approach, he'll warm up and show you his sweet nature. He's already made some great friends with other dogs, who have been instrumental in helping him build his confidence and social skills.

Ideal Home

Tater would thrive in a home with another confident dog who can continue to be a positive role model and source of reassurance. A patient and understanding family who can give him the time and space he needs to blossom will be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Tater has a history of seizures and will require an adopter committed to his ongoing care, management, and veterinary follow-up to ensure he stays healthy and comfortable.

Training & Support

Tater is working on his leash-walking skills and gaining confidence outdoors. He would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and gentle encouragement, especially with grooming routines and new experiences.
