PISTOL

Meet Pistol, a handsome and adorable Alaskan Malamute mix boy looking for his furever home! He may be a mixed breed, but he has the classic Malamute mask, big paws, and an even bigger personality. Pistol is a smart cookie who loves to learn and is very easy to train. He enjoys running and playing but always circles back to sit with his foster mom, and he's always watching everything going on around him. He's a real sweetheart, though it will take him a little time to trust new people as he relies heavily on his littermate, Tilly, for security.

Ideal Home

Pistol would do best in a home where he has the opportunity to build trust gradually.

Ongoing Health

Pistol has had his tail docked but is otherwise healthy, happy, and full of energy. He will come with all his vaccinations and is already altered.

Training & Support

Pistol is leash-trained, though he prefers to lead the way! He knows to sit and wait for treats rather than snatching them. He is learning to ride in a car and is doing well with the motion. He is also crate-trained and is making great progress with potty training, though he does have occasional accidents and will try to let you know when he needs to go out.
