Elena likes to nose-butt your arm for attention and absolutely adores squeaky toys. She will also gaze at you with her gorgeous, soft eyes, waiting for a scratch or a kiss.
Elena is house-trained and crate-trained. She gets along well with other animals and children; in fact, she coexists harmoniously with six dogs and one cat in her foster home. However, she can become territorial in new environments with other dogs, so a home with an experienced dog owner or as an only dog would be ideal. With clear guidance and leadership, she can do well with other dogs.
Elena knows how to sit and waits patiently for her food until she hears the command "go ahead." She loves children and is comfortable with even the smallest ones hugging her.
