Akira

Meet Akira, a 5.5-year-old spayed female Staffordshire mix who weighs about 60lbs. Akira is a true sweetheart with the most adorable puppy-dog eyes! She was saved from a euthanasia list with mere minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever home for nearly nine months. We can't understand why, because she's such a wonderful girl!

Akira is fully crate-trained and knows her basic commands. She absolutely loves to snuggle and truly believes she's a tiny lap dog! You'll often find her snoozing on a comfy dog bed during the day, just waiting for her human to return for a walk or some quality cuddle time. She's very responsive to commands and takes treats with the gentlest mouth. To keep herself entertained, she enjoys chewing on bones and playing with her stuffed toys.

Ideal Home

Akira adores people and would also do well with calm, submissive dogs. However, her ultimate dream is to be the one and only apple of your eye, so she would also be happy as an only pet.

Akira is crate-trained and knows her basic commands. She listens well and is gentle when taking treats.
