Coal

Coal is a happy, affectionate Labrador Retriever/Staffie mix, born around September 1, 2024. He was found wandering on a back country road in Texas and was rescued from animal control. Coal is a cuddle enthusiast with a tail that never stops wagging and a whole-body wiggle for everyone he meets. He's always ready for kisses and loves to be close to his people. Playtime is his absolute favorite, especially with other dogs! He's currently in a foster home with three small dogs and gets along wonderfully with them, so he would be thrilled to have one or two canine siblings in his new home. Coal also coexists peacefully with the cats in his foster home. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and a smart, active pup who would thrive with an adventurous family. Whether it's hiking, exploring, or playing fetch, Coal is always game! He walks well on a leash and is friendly with everyone he encounters. If you're seeking a loyal companion for both outdoor adventures and cozy couch time, Coal could be your perfect match.
