Wrangler - on hold

Wrangler is a charming boy, almost 1.5 years old, who is currently being fostered in PA. He is a sweetie who loves to cuddle on the couch and hog the bed, but he's working on a few things to help him become the best companion he can be.

Ideal Home

Wrangler would do best in a home where he can go slow when meeting new people, as he can be a bit anxious and scared of new things. He is particularly wary of men and needs a patient and understanding family to help him build confidence. He also feels more secure when he's not left alone, so a home with other doggies to keep him company would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Wrangler has Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBD) which is managed with a low-fat diet. He also receives a B12 injection every three weeks to address a deficiency, which he tolerates well. He is currently trying Prozac to help manage his anxiety.

Training & Support

Wrangler is working on overcoming his fear of new things, especially men. He also needs to not be left alone. His foster family is helping him with these challenges, and with patience and understanding, he can learn to feel more secure.
