Hi there! My name is Caramel, but some of my favorite people call me Caramella. I'm a Labrador Retriever mix with a heart as sweet as my name. I'm currently just a little pup, weighing in at 11.9lbs as of June 3, 2026, and my estimated birthday is April 8, 2026.
If you're looking for a furry friend who's a perfect blend of sweet, playful, and cuddly, then we should definitely meet! I'll admit, I can be a little shy when I first meet new people or encounter new things – they can be a bit scary! But with a little patience, some kind words, and maybe a gentle scratch or two, you'll see my true, adorable personality shine through. Once I know you're my friend, I absolutely adore attention! Belly rubs, ear scratches, cuddles, and being told how wonderful I am? Yes, please! I have so much love to give and can't wait to share it all with my forever family.
Like any puppy, my days are filled with fun. I love carrying toys around, wrestling and playing with my brother, investigating every interesting thing I can find, and then crashing for a well-deserved nap when all that hard work wears me out. I'm also a pretty smart girl! I'm doing great with crate training and often head into my crate on my own when it's time for a nap or to go to bed. I'm learning my potty manners too and am mostly using my puppy pads like a big girl. More than anything, I'm looking for a family who will help me continue building my confidence and show me all the wonderful things life has to offer. Transportation
Caramella is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee. Pickup locations may vary, including to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
