Poppi

Poppi is a 4-month-old, 23 lb female mystery mix with a whole lot of love to give! She's a certified adorable mutt, possibly a Lab or Great Pyrenees mix, and she came to us with her brother Bud looking for a fresh start after an "oopsie litter." Poppi has settled into foster life like she was always meant to be here, and her parents are now fixed! She's in classic puppy mode, with bursts of zoomies and playful chaos, followed by much-needed naps.

What we love most about Poppi is her infectious happiness and her sweet, cuddly side. She loves to snuggle with both humans and dogs and is happiest when she's close to her people. Watching her try to catch bubbles is objectively the cutest thing ever! Poppi, in return, loves snuggling, chewing on bones, playing with everyone, and eating absolutely anything (she's also curious about other dogs' food bowls!). She wants to be part of whatever is happening.

Ideal Home

Poppi would thrive in an active family home with kids, playful dogs, or anyone looking for a happy, social puppy to grow with. She wants to be involved in everything and loves being part of the family.

Poppi has received her age-appropriate vetting.

Training & Support

Poppi is working on typical puppy basics, including learning not to jump, waiting politely for meals, building leash confidence, and mastering four-on-the-floor when excited. She's already doing great with "come" and is a super quick learner. She is doing incredibly well with house training, having figured out going outside in less than a week with very few accidents. Poppi is also crate-trained and sleeps overnight in her crate, doing great with up to 5 hours during the day. She might protest with a bark at first but settles nicely. A sound machine can be a bonus!
