Sweetie

Sweetie is a 1-year-old pitbull with a heart of gold! She was rescued and transported to Oregon after being found as a stray and pulled from a euthanasia list. Despite her past, Sweetie absolutely adores people and yearns for affection and closeness. She's a gentle soul who doesn't mind having her nails clipped and walks beautifully on a leash without pulling or reacting. Sweetie is also potty-trained, but she prefers to relieve herself off-leash, so a fenced yard or a secure off-leash area nearby would be ideal. While she might do okay with mellow, laid-back animals with very slow introductions, Sweetie is quite shy and would likely thrive as the only pet or with companions who understand her need for space and patience.

Ideal Home

Sweetie needs a patient and understanding home where she can take her time to warm up to her surroundings and any potential housemates.

Ongoing Health

Sweetie is still working on gaining a healthy amount of weight and needs about 7 more pounds. She eats and drinks well and just needs a patient person to feed her slowly throughout the day. She is scheduled for a spay surgery on 7/17/2.

Training & Support

Sweetie is a bit shy and timid due to her past experiences. She needs adopters who are willing to go at her pace and provide her with a safe and supportive environment.
