Chance is a 10-year-old, 83.6 lb mixed breed with a heart full of love to give. Found at just 6 weeks old, he was the sole survivor of a parvo-stricken litter. His early weeks were spent in hospitals and quarantine, which meant he missed out on crucial socialization. While he learned to trust his rescuers, he remained fearful of strangers. However, with the help of his best friend, Chula, Chance has blossomed. He's learned to walk on leash, explore, play, and even let new people approach. He adores running beside a golf cart, exploring the yard, and spending sunny days playing with toys and Chula in the rescue's exercise area. Chance is housetrained, playful, and affectionate once he feels safe. He is so deserving of a real home after a decade of waiting.

Ideal Home

Chance would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with a fenced yard. He would do best with a calm, confident companion dog, and his best friend Chula would be perfect! He needs a patient adopter willing to give him time and love.
