Haddie

Meet Haddie! This sweet girl came to us as a stray from a rural shelter, where she was understandably stressed and shut down. Once she settled into her foster home in Atlanta, we discovered Haddie is a timid but incredibly sweet soul who gets along well with other dogs and cats, though she prefers to keep to herself. We also learned she was pregnant and became a phenomenal mama to 8 healthy puppies! Now that her little ones are weaned and thriving, Haddie is ready to bloom into her own and find her forever family. Her confidence has soared, and she's blossomed into a loving companion who adores being with her person. While she co-exists peacefully with the other dogs in her foster home, she'd also be perfectly content being the sole focus of your affection.

Ongoing Health

Haddie tested positive for heartworm disease, common for dogs rescued from rural areas. She is undergoing a slow-kill treatment protocol and will be provided all necessary medications. With successful treatment, she has a long and healthy life ahead!

Training & Support

Haddie is a sensitive girl and may need a little time to adjust to new environments and people. Patience and positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping her feel secure.
