My name is Tarcin, and I'm a 3½-year-old, 65-pound Carolina mix. People say my name, which means Cinnamon, suits me because of my warm coat and the gentle sweetness I carry inside. I’ve really come out of my shell and my tail is almost always wagging. When my person comes home, I can't help but let out soft, happy whimpers – I'm just so grateful to be here. I love calm homes and peaceful routines, and I'm content resting, often on the bed, knowing I belong. I’ve learned that you always come back, so I’m okay being left alone and won’t cause any trouble. I’m quiet, gentle, and easy to live with. Treats motivate me to learn, and I love it! My leash skills are improving, though I can still get excited by squirrels and small dogs. With patience and consistency, I truly shine. I can be a little nervous with car rides, loud crowds, and sudden changes, but with a soft voice and reassurance, I settle right in. I just need someone steady to show me I’m safe. I don't need chaos or constant excitement; I need stability, kindness, and a person who understands that quiet dogs love the deepest. If you sit down, I’ll rest my head near you. If you’re tired, I’ll lie beside you. If you love me, I will love you back with unwavering loyalty. I’ve opened my heart, and I’m just waiting for someone who won’t let it close again.
