Cherokee is a beautiful Husky/Labrador Retriever mix with a heart full of love to give. She's come a long way from her days on the streets and has learned to trust and walk proudly on a leash. Cherokee is a gentle and affectionate soul who recently charmed a group of 6th graders, showing just how sweet she can be. Sadly, she lost her beloved companion, Charlie, and is now looking for a new best friend to help heal her heart. She's an 8-year-old, 62lb girl who is calm, loving, and eager to belong. Cherokee dreams of a cozy home and a family to call her own. She gets along wonderfully with all dogs and kids.
