Even if you don't have a green thumb, you can enjoy this beautiful Dahlia! This pretty girl is a sweet social butterfly. When presented with a crowd, she likes to bop around to visit with everyone to get maximum pets and attention. She loves hugs and scratches and is nicely attentive with her people. Dahlia was quite underweight when she first arrived at the kennel, but that hasn't dimmed her sparkle - she's merrily putting on weight and is on her way to healthiness. Dahlia is overall a chill lady, enjoying the chance to hang out and relax. She enjoys going for strolls, but also takes plenty of breaks to watch the world go by. If you're ready to play, she's also down to join you for a casual game of fetch. Dahlia has a bright mind too: she knows sit, shake, and seems like she could be housebroken. With other dogs, she was softly social in play group. Dahlia is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs 46 lbs.

Ongoing Health
Dahlia arrived underweight but is now gaining weight and on her way to healthiness. She will need to see a personal vet within two weeks of adoption. All dogs receive their DAPPL, Rabies, and Bordatella vaccines, though follow-up boosters may be required. She comes microchipped and with a Cuyahoga County license.

Dahlia knows sit and shake. She also seems like she could be housebroken.

- All available dogs are available for direct adoption from the kennel.
- You must schedule a meet with a dog in advance.
- Please look online first to see if there are any dogs you think would be a good fit for your home before scheduling a meet.
- At the kennel, an adoption counselor will introduce you and your family to the adoptable dogs, share information we know about them, and discuss our suggested ways for successfully integrating a new dog into your home. You are welcome to meet multiple dogs.
- If the dog you adopt is already fixed, he or she may leave with you that day - otherwise, the dog can go home after receiving the spay or neuter surgery.
- If you have kids or another dog in the home, we do require that they be present for a meet and greet with the dog you are considering for adoption.
