Thomas is a truly wonderful 3-year-old Pittie and retriever mix who is ready to steal your heart! He's a delightful goofball, incredibly people-focused, and has an abundance of love to give. Thomas is also fantastic with other dogs, a whiz at fetch, and great with kids. He makes an excellent office companion, happy to relax nearby while you work, and might even join you for a TV marathon. He's a dreamy dog who can't wait to find his forever family.
Ideal Home
Thomas would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can enjoy his energetic zoomies. He's looking for a semi-active family who enjoys outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, and exploring, but also loves to snuggle up at the end of the day. Thomas is not a good fit for a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Thomas is up-to-date on all his vetting, which includes his DAPP vaccine with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea and heartworm prevention. He has also been neutered.
Training & Support
Thomas is a super smart, treat-motivated, and highly trainable dog. He already knows commands like sit, down, "leave it," and fetch. He's a gentle treat taker, making training a joy. He is fully crate trained and enjoys having a rubber toy for enrichment when in his crate. He is also gentle lead trained, which helps him walk beautifully on leash.
