Babu and Bradley didn't come into rescue as the confident, happy boys they are today. When they first arrived, they were overwhelmed, unsure, and clung tightly to each other to get through it. That alone tells you everything you need to know about them. They are a team, through and through!
Now that they've had a little time to settle in, it's been really special to watch them come out of their shells. These two have completely different personalities, but they fit together perfectly. Babu, the 3 year old fawn boy at 24 pounds, is the steadier of the pair. He's more laid back and happy to lounge, observe, and then join in when he's ready. Bradley, the younger one at about 1.5 years old and 20 pounds, is the spark. He's playful, curious, and always on the move, and also the one calling the shots. Wherever Bradley goes, Babu is never far behind.
And then there's their favorite thing, each other. Bradley will often use Babu as a pillow, resting his head right on his back like it's the most natural thing in the world. They sleep together, move together, and look to each other for comfort.
Bradley has the most unforgettable face. Big, wide eyes that make him look permanently surprised, like he just overheard some juicy gossip! But behind that expression is a really affectionate, cuddly dog who loves being held. Babu is just as loving once he feels safe. They both turn into total lap dogs, gently nudging you when they're ready for attention and then settling in like they belong there.
They can still be a little shy at first and would do best in a calm, patient home where they can continue to build confidence at their own pace. They've done well with other dogs and have previously lived with children. Bradley hasn't loved cats in the past, but with the right introductions, it's not out of the question.
These boys just need someone kind and steady who will give them the time and love they deserve.
