Ivy

Meet Ivy, a delightful pup born on March 11, 2025, who is searching for her forever family! Ivy's journey has had a few bumps, but she's come through it all with a wagging tail and a heart full of love. She was adopted as a puppy from a local Texas shelter and, through no fault of her own, her previous family had to rehome her. Thankfully, she found a loving foster home where she's been a true joy. Now, we're on the hunt for the perfect family to give her the stable, loving home she deserves.

Ivy is a happy, affectionate, and incredibly playful girl who lives for a game of fetch! If you've got a ball, you're her new best friend. She also enjoys her toys, going for walks, and simply being by your side. She's a smart cookie who already knows commands like sit, lay down, come, no, go potty, and go to your kennel. Potty and crate trained, Ivy thrives on routine and is a well-behaved companion.

Ideal Home

Ivy would thrive in an active family that enjoys playing and including her in their daily lives. She adores children and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Ivy can be a bit shy around unfamiliar men at first. She might bark and back away, needing a little extra time and patience to feel comfortable. She's food-motivated and loves treats, watermelon, cucumbers, apples, and ice cubes, which can be a great tool for building her confidence. With gentle introductions and a few tasty rewards, she quickly warms up and becomes the sweetest, most loving companion.
