Peanut

Hi there! My name is Peanut, and I'm a 6-month-old male German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, and Lab mix with a super sweet personality that will steal your heart! I came into rescue with my siblings after being born as a stray. Thankfully, a kind person brought us to safety, where we could grow up with love and full bellies.

I can be a little shy when I meet new people or experience new things, but once I get comfortable, my fun and affectionate side really comes out! My foster family says I'm a charmer, full of playfulness, love, and personality. I absolutely adore my toys and can often be found happily entertaining myself by tossing them around or settling in for a good chew. After playtime, I'm ready for some snuggles!

Ideal Home

I do great with other dogs and truly thrive when I have a canine friend! Because I can be a little timid at first, I'm looking for a home with another friendly, confident dog who can help me learn, gain confidence, and become best buddies. A dog companion helps me feel secure and brings out my playful side.

Training & Support

I am both potty trained and crate trained and have done wonderfully with my routines. I enjoy being around people and am ready to continue learning and growing with a patient family who will help me build confidence and show me just how wonderful life can be.

Transporation

Peanut is currently located in Texas and can be adopted either locally or out of state. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure pets arrive safely and keep adopters informed every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so families can meet their new companion and ensure it's a good fit.
