Sweet and comforting just like the candy I’m named after! Hi, I'm Rollo! I’m a 2 year old Shepherd mix, weighing 47 pounds of pure love and loyalty. I’m an active and playful boy. I am house-trained, great on a leash, and I already know sit and stay. I get along with other dogs, particularly girl dogs, and don't mind cats. However, I am not a fan of male dogs and would need supervision if being around them. I would thrive in a house setting with a fenced yard. I prefer to go potty on my own while exploring the fenced yard and not while on a leash. I like cheeseburgers and cow hooves, but I am scared of storms. Since I am a bit timid, it takes me a bit to warm up to strangers, but I am a great friend once I am comfortable.
I was treated for heartworms and recently received the all-clear report. I’ll be good as gold—just like a Rolo wrapper. Are you ready to unwrap a lifetime of love with me?
Ideal Home
A house setting with a fenced yard where I can go potty while exploring. I would do best in a home without male dogs, or with supervision if male dogs are present. I have not been around children yet.
Ongoing Health
I have recently completed treatment for heartworms and have received an all-clear report. I should not have any special needs related to heartworms after completing treatment.
Training & Support
I am house-trained and great on a leash. I know "sit" and "stay." I am a bit timid with new people but warm up once I'm comfortable. I am scared of storms.

- My adoption fee is $75 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip.
- We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check.
Transporation
I am located in Springfield and surrounding areas. Adopters are responsible for coming to get me and returning me if the adoption does not work out.
