Cassie is the perfect companion for those seeking a loyal friend rather than a high-energy dog. She loves to lean into you for pets and cuddles, her calm presence making any house feel like a home. Cassie enjoys gentle adventures, rides well in the car, and is happy to explore the world on walks at her own pace. She's also a great jogging partner! At home, she's content with simple pleasures like lounging in the sun and occasional zoomies. Cassie is a smart cookie, already knowing "sit," "paw," and "lay down," and is eager to please. She has a special fondness for children, showing a patient and gentle nature around them.
Ideal Home
Cassie would thrive in a home that appreciates a loyal companion. She would be happiest as the only dog, or with a calm, laid-back male dog who respects personal space. She is not a fit for a home with cats. A home with a yard would be ideal for her to explore and relax, though apartment living might work for the right family.

Cassie is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworms.

Cassie knows "sit," "paw," and "lay down." She is described as having excellent manners. If things get too rowdy, Cassie may feel the need to supervise, so a peaceful household is best.

Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick-up locations in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
