Prima Donna turns an ordinary day into a good one the second she walks into the room! With her adorable squishy smoosh face, wrinkles for days, and out-of-this-world personality, she has a way of making people smile without even trying. She's silly, full of joy, and completely devoted to her people. She’s the type of girl who loves HARD and isn’t shy about showing it. Whether she's making you laugh with her goofy antics or dramatically leaning into you for affection, Prima Donna has that rare feel-good energy that somehow makes everything around her better, and she’s undeniably gorgeous. Prima Donna is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 58 lbs. She is a rescue dog, and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery, and we cannot guarantee breed or age. What she is, without question, is adorable, affectionate, and absolutely full of life. Prima is truly joy on legs!
Ideal Home
Prima Donna absolutely loves people and would thrive in a home that enjoys having visitors because she genuinely believes everyone is her friend. She would do best in a home with older children, around 15+, who are comfortable around bigger bully-type dogs, can confidently set boundaries with her, and would actually enjoy her goofy, rough-and-rowdy style of affection and play. She would do best in a cat-free home. She would probably pair best with a happy-go-lucky, playful male dog that enjoys chase games, tolerates her silly roughhousing style, and also knows how to self-regulate during play, though she does not need another dog to feel comfortable or confident. A home with a big backyard would be ideal for her to zoom around in!

Training & Support
Prima is a smart lady, but when she gets excited, her impulse control can disconnect, leading to mouthing. She responds well to correction and listens when told "no," but she occasionally needs reminders that using her mouth as a form of affection isn't the preferred human method. She already knows how to sit, loves treats, and may know "down." She walks nicely on a gentle leader, which helps her stay grounded. She can get amped up at first because she loves walks, but she learns quickly and improves with continued practice on checking in with her handler and staying focused. She truly shines with structure, routine, and continued positive guidance.
