Riley is a sweet, curious puppy with a big heart and boundless puppy energy! He's a delightful mix of Coonhound and Blue Heeler, making him playful, eager to learn, and a true explorer. Riley is incredibly affectionate, showering his favorite people with puppy kisses and enjoying cuddles after a good play session. He loves meeting new people and is looking for an active home to call his own.

Ideal Home

Riley would thrive in an active household that can provide him with plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation. He'd do well with families who are committed to continued puppy socialization and training classes. Homes with older children over 10 years old are a great fit, and he may do well with a confident dog playmate after proper introductions.

Ongoing Health

Riley is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, and he is microchipped. He will need to be neutered in the coming months, which can be done locally.

Training & Support

Riley is already crate and house trained, and he's motivated by treats, making him quick to learn basic commands. He loves his toys, sniffing adventures, and short walks or hikes. While he's not a big fan of car rides yet, this may improve with time. As with any puppy, adopters should expect some normal puppy behaviors like chewing and occasional accidents as he continues to learn.
