About Queenie

Meet Queenie, a three-year-old Retriever mix who is as charming as she is spirited! At 55 lbs, Queenie navigates the world with one eye, but her enthusiasm for life is boundless. She's a delightful blend of energy, affection, and a touch of playful sass that makes her truly unique. Queenie enjoys her walks but isn't afraid to take a break when the mood strikes. She's not one for chasing toys but loves a good wrestling match with her canine friends and soaking up human affection. While she might be a little shy meeting new people at first, her warm heart and love for belly rubs quickly shine through. Be prepared for a bit of a negotiation when it's time to put on the leash – it's just part of her endearing personality!

Ideal Home

Queenie would thrive in a home with plenty of space to explore, ideally with a large yard. An active family that enjoys hiking or running would be a perfect match for her lively nature. Given her curiosity, a secure containment is important, as she might explore a bit if given the chance. We recommend homes with children aged 10 and older to ensure the best fit for everyone.

Ongoing Health

Queenie has vision in one eye, but it doesn't slow her down one bit!

Training & Support

Queenie is a social butterfly in playgroups, getting along wonderfully with other dogs. She enjoys playful interactions and has a gentle spirit. While she's content to chill after playtime, her energetic nature means an active family will help her thrive.
