Every rescue dog is someone's prayer waiting to be answered. Maybe that someone is you.
Meet Happy Harrison, the courageous companion. Some dogs survive. Some dogs simply keep going. And then there are dogs like Happy Harrison—the ones who somehow choose joy in spite of everything they've been through. Born around February 2025, Happy Harrison has already faced challenges that no young dog should ever have to experience. He was found in the middle of a busy highway after being struck by a car, somehow surviving with nothing more than a scar on his left side—a quiet reminder of just how resilient this remarkable boy truly is. But here's the beautiful part... Happy doesn't live in the past. He greets each new day with hope, curiosity, and a heart that's still wide open to love. His scar may tell the story of where he's been, but his bright eyes tell the story of where he's going.
Happy is an affectionate, intelligent young dog who loves spending time with his people. Whether you're exploring the outdoors, working in the yard, heading out on an adventure, or simply relaxing at home, he'll happily be right there beside you, soaking up every minute together. He's wonderfully attentive and eager to learn, always watching his humans to see what comes next. Happy wants to be part of your world, and there's no doubt he'll become a loyal companion who is happiest simply being near the people he loves.
Ideal Home
Happy gets along well with dogs his own size and larger. Around smaller dogs, he sometimes likes to remind everyone that he's in charge, so he'd do best with canine companions who appreciate his confident personality. He also enjoys older children who understand how to respectfully interact with a young, energetic dog. At bedtime, Happy is perfectly content sleeping in his kennel, but if you're the kind of family who believes dogs belong curled up at the foot of the bed, he certainly wouldn't mind joining the cuddle club.
Ongoing Health
Happy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations.
Training & Support
He's not a big barker, either. Happy prefers to save his voice for moments that truly matter—like letting you know when someone unfamiliar has stopped by. He's observant, thoughtful, and naturally protective without being overly vocal.
