Copper

Copper came into rescue in March 2022 and is estimated to be 1 year old. He's a unique blend of breeds, including American Pitbull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, Bulldog, and Boxer, with a few other smaller percentages. This special mix makes him a truly one-of-a-kind companion! He has been lovingly cared for daily by his handler, a certified dog trainer.

Ideal Home

Copper does wonderfully with dogs he's been properly introduced to. He's gentle when taking treats and is a slow eater. Due to his impressive jumping ability, a securely fenced yard with a 6-foot-tall fence is essential. Given his joyful energy, we recommend a home with children 11 years and older. He has no known experience with cats, so a cat-free home is best to ensure his success.

Copper is a healthy boy with no known health concerns.

Training & Support

Copper knows his basic commands, including sit, down, come, touch, and stay, among others. He thrives on enrichment and mental stimulation and benefits greatly from a predictable routine. He is crate-trained and sleeps soundly in his crate overnight.
