Trudy

Trudy is a classic hound whose ears might be a world record contender! She is a sweet, middle-aged girl, and we're pretty sure her tail hasn't stopped wagging since she arrived at our shelter. She is happy to meet people of all ages as well as other dogs. Trudy settles nicely in her kennel, is great on leash walks, and seems to enjoy going for car rides. She even took a trip to Home Depot where she gladly accepted pets from admirers! Overall, Trudy is a calm and confident dog who is ready to take advantage of all the love her humans have to give. If Trudy sounds like a good match for you, she'll be waiting to greet you with plenty of tail wags!

Ongoing Health

Trudy's adoption fee of $500 covers vetting, including spay, vaccinations, heartworm testing, preventatives while in our care, deworming, and microchip.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• We do not adopt on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather by the best match between dog and family. We will factor in the order of applications if there are equally good matches.
• The adoption fee for adult dogs is $500, which covers the costs of vetting and any boarding or transport fees incurred in each dog's rescue. Senior dogs are $250.

Transporation

Trudy is located at Lighthouse Animal Shelter in New Bedford, MA. Transport may be available.
