Meet Bear - Doctor Love!
Bear has a PhD in spreading love and happiness! He shows his affection by leaning into you, rubbing against you, flopping over, and proudly offering his belly for rubs. His absolute favorite pastime is being brushed! Under the chin, along his back, on his tummy, or down his legs – Bear is happy anywhere the brush goes, as long as you don't stop. He thrives on attention but also has wonderful house manners. When asked, he'll happily go lie down, and he has free roam of the house while his foster is at work. He's also unfazed by storms and fireworks. Bear gets along well with both dogs and cats. Living with eight cats has taught him to respect their boundaries. He quickly figured out which cat preferred extra space and will patiently wait in the doorway until the cat decides to move along. Despite his calm nature, Bear still has a playful side! He occasionally gets the zoomies, enjoys nibbling wild raspberries from the garden, and loves spending time outside in the yard or relaxing on the deck. Bear takes his role as a watchdog seriously and will let everyone know when strangers arrive with a big, booming bark. Once his foster lets him know everything is okay, he settles down nicely. He's an excellent travel companion, loads into the car with ease, rides well, and never says no to a pup cup. While Bear isn't a heavy drooler, he does occasionally "sprinkle" everyone nearby when he gives his head a good shake! Doctor Love is looking for a family who will cherish him as much as he cherishes them.
