Wiggles

Hi, I'm Wiggles! I'm about 1 year old and earned my name because I'm one of the happiest girls you'll ever meet! Life started out a bit rough; I was found as a stray with seriously matted fur and painful foxtails embedded in my skin. Thankfully, I received some wonderful care and am now safe and sound, ready for my second chance at a happy life. My fur will grow back, and I'm confident my new family will think I'm 100% adorable, no matter what! I might be part Havanese, Shih Tzu, or Maltese, but I'm 100% ready to be your sweet, happy companion, greeting you with wiggles, kisses, and a wagging tail every day.

Ideal Home

I would thrive in an adult home or one with respectful children ages 12 and up. I'm young, playful, and eager to learn with positive training. I love all kinds of toys, am affectionate, and enjoy cuddling with my people.

Ongoing Health

I was found with foxtails embedded in my skin and have received treatment for that. I will require regular grooming.

Training & Support

I'm still working on basic commands and manners. I'm very puppy-like and motivated to learn! I'm on my way to being fully potty trained, but may still need reminders. I walk nicely on a leash but would benefit from continued training and exposure to new environments. My puppy-like enthusiasm can be a bit pushy for some dogs, so I'm still learning appropriate play and social skills with other dogs. I've been left alone for up to six hours and do very well, settling comfortably in my crate. I sleep in my crate.
