Stewie is a 9-year-old, 55-pound boxer-hound mix who has truly mastered the art of a good lounge. He can often be found curled up like a cinnamon roll, but don't let that fool you – he also has bursts of energy, galloping through the woods like he's training for the hound Olympics! Stewie is a heat-seeking snuggle bug who loves cozy corners and soft blankets. Since his fur is minimal, he's a dog who owns and proudly rocks sweaters, especially when it's chilly. Indoors, he's a breeze – potty trained, crate trained, not destructive, and generally happy to chill. A marrow bone and a sunny window are all he needs for hours of contentment. Stewie absolutely adores people and will greet you with enthusiastic tail wags and full-body leans. He loves kids, adults, strangers, and even UPS drivers! However, Stewie has made it clear that he's a people-dog, not a dog's dog, and is ready for a home where he can be the only canine companion.
Ideal Home
Stewie would do best in a quiet, country-style home where he can enjoy yard time without surprise encounters with other dogs. A securely fenced yard is non-negotiable, as he has a high prey drive and takes outdoor adventures seriously. While he loves people of all ages, homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for everyone.
